Rolodai ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal networking CRM that helps you manage your professional contacts and tasks. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Rolodai, we may collect:

• Account information: Your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Contact data: Names, companies, notes, and other details you enter about your professional contacts.
• Task data: Tasks and reminders you create within the app.
• Voice input: If you use voice features, audio is processed by your browser's speech recognition (not stored by us). The resulting text is sent to our servers for parsing.
• Usage data: Anonymous usage analytics (via PostHog) to understand how the app is used, and error monitoring (via Sentry) to identify and fix bugs. Neither service uses tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Rolodai service
• Sync your data across devices via our cloud backend
• Enrich contact profiles using third-party data providers (when you request it)
• Generate AI-powered insights about your contacts and topics (when you request it)

4. AI and Third-Party Services

Rolodai uses AI services (Anthropic Claude) and data enrichment APIs (Apollo.io) to provide features like contact research and topic insights. When you use these features, relevant contact information is sent to these services to generate results. We do not share your data with these services unless you explicitly trigger a research or enrichment action.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies ensuring only you can access your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. If you use Rolodai without an account, data is stored locally in your browser.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy (AI services and data enrichment, only when you initiate those actions).

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Export all your data at any time using the built-in export feature
• Delete your contacts and tasks at any time
• Request deletion of your account by contacting us

8. Cookies

Rolodai uses only essential cookies for authentication. We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics (stored in localStorage, not cookies) and Sentry for error monitoring. Neither service uses advertising cookies. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
